A selection of 27 posters used by the Islamic Republic to mobilize people for revolutionary and militant purposes between 1979-88.

This period of “furious” Iranian art influenced Iranians from all classes and ethnicities to revolt against an established and prospering government and later fight on the frontlines against Iraq.

Includes a short introduction essay and captions for each poster.

Fold marks in the middle of posters is due to the newspaper format. As part of the binding and distribution, this is inevitable and not considered a flaw. The binding is part of the original historic experience.
